:faint: Not only is the fact of owning 144 prisma color markers kinda scary, but even scarier is the fact that there are more greys and whites than you can shake a stick at.

Even stranger is the fact that there IS a color known as warm black. :O_o: Now I've seen everything. Maybe other people knew that, but I'm kinda struck. XD

;_; WHICH IS WHY I LOVE THEM. Omguuuuh.
It's absolutely absurd, but I dun care. :3 I loves it.

So I was itching to break in some colors...I saw they had a huge variety of warm colors, so I went for Daxter. I was tempted to draw Tess, but she was my test charrie when I got my 24 pack, so...Yeah. Rambling!

And man, does it please me to know that I can now make pretty decent images with 100% marker! Cuz I don't wanna sharpen my 144 pencil set yet. X_X Did I mention that that was the box that came up to my tummy? No? Well... OxO

I love his face, especially the eyes. @_@ And you can't help but adore that fl00fy chest. xP I love that fl00fy chest...so very Daxter, indeed.

I love the blotchy BG, too. I used 'brick white' and 'putty' tones for the blotchyness. :p Such weird names.

Anywho, hope you like. :3 I had alot of fun doing this one.

Daxter belongs to the Naughty Dogs; Inked with Staedtler pigment liners .1, .3, .5, and .7, and colored with Prisma Color markers.

*cling* That's friggin' awesome. Really odd names for those markers. LOVE the way you used such contrasting-yet-blending tones, especially in his lighter fur. You, as always, have captured his expression perfectly. And it really does look like a mugshot. Nice touch with the gray background as blotchy and stuff! :heart: Luff it.

Oh! Not only is there 'Warm Black' but there is also 'Super Black!' Like how much blacker can black get??!? XD The number of greys surprises me too.. I only have Cool Gray 30-40-60-70 but they work for what I need them for. Oou, ouu, teacher, teacher, I have a question! O_O Your fine nibs, are they like.. pen-ish, or are they sort of like.. pointy-paint-brush-ish? Because... My first set was penish, but most of the ones I've bought after because old ones had died were pointy-paint-brush-ish. I think Prismacolor is trying to switch them over because the paint-brush nibs rawk more than the pen ones.. They're more Copic-like. (Which have a broad side like Prismas, then, the other side is REALLY like a paintbrush. That's the sketch markers, tho.) Okay.. Enough marker talk! XD

144 colors serves chu guud. n__n All of the different shades of yellow in Daxter's fur are LOVELY, and it reminds me of your color pencil work because you usually fit in a LOT of ranges of colors that.. ou, I just love to squeal at your artwork. x3

I understand the number of greys as there are a few different shades of it (light to dark) - but many blacks and whites is a bit insane for a range of colours. :o

This is a very good drawing involving markers, you've done the texturing of his fur well and the shading is awesome. I also love Daxter's crazy look. :D
